I'm Ori Pas — and I started this channel because I couldn't find what I was looking for.

When I began researching a move to Italy, everything I found was either too vague to be useful, too optimistic to be honest, or written by someone who had never actually dealt with Italian bureaucracy, the US-Italy tax treaty, or the Elective Residency Visa process from start to finish.

So I started doing the research myself. I spoke to cross-border tax specialists, immigration lawyers, people who had made the move and people who had tried and failed. I dug into the treaty articles, the IVIE and IVAFE rules, the 7% flat tax regime, the consulate requirements — all of it.

And then I started sharing what I found.
